Drilling Fluid Additives Polyacrylamide For Oil Field Chemicals Clearing Agent Powder Flocculant
Polyacrylamide is used as an additive for drilling fluids and can be used as the drilling mud performance modifer in the drilling process. The role of polyacrylamide is to improve the rheology of the drilling fluid, carry rock debris, lubricate the drill bit, and increase the rate of penetration. In addition, it can greatly reduce sticking accidents, reduce equipment wear, prevent well blowouts and borehole collapse, and avoid formation damage during drilling.
Polyacrylamide is a white granule and it is a linear high molecular compound which is soluble in water. It is non-toxic and odorless, easily absorbs moisture, is insoluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents, has positive charge active groups on molecular chains, and has excellent flocculation effect.
Economical to use - lower dosage levels.
Easily soluble in water; dissolves rapidly.
Non corrosive of suggested dosage, economical and effective at low levels.
Can eliminate the use of alum & further ferric salts when used as primary coagulants.
Reduction in sludge of dewatering process system.
Oil displacement agent for the tertiary oil recovery.
The bore mud material of well drilling.
Industrial waste water treatment.
Drinking water treatment.
Clearing agent of sugar juice in the sugar making industry.
Additives and adhesive of aquatic feed.
